Hebiimetaru:
A five-piece Melodic Thrash/Groove Metal band from the peaceful country of Brunei Darussalam. Formed in early 2004, the band have then established themselves firmly in the local underground music scene. Zays, Zaz and Fizo formed the band after quitting their former band Dark Omen.

On Dec 2005, Fizo met Amil at a gig and through mutual friends. Impressed by his skills and attitude on stage, he then decided to organize an audition and things went very well.

In search of a vocalist, Zays then discovered a local Thrash metal band (Evilive) and was impressed by the powerful vocals. Dec 2007 (TT Blues,Gadong), was the band's first gig with Arif (guitarist/vox of Evilive) on vocals. The gig turned out to be successful for the band who has now proven their potential in the local scene. Arif would later have to leave to pursue his studies overseas which left the band searching for a replacement.

In 2008, Hebiimetaru called the search off as they've found their new vocalist. Metal Amal became the voice of Hebiimetaru, a female growler. With her by their side, they achieved online fame and recognition through their single 'Black Heart'. However, her time was short lives as the band decided to go to another direction.
In 2009, the band asked Arif to return to vocal duties and after much hesitation, he finally accepted their offer. The band slowly transitioned into an entirely new machine. By mid 2009, the band entered the studios to record their debut album 'Legion Of Metaru'.

Legion of Metaru was released in February 2010 which was welcomed with generally positive reviews by the locals. The band is now waiting to see what the rest of 2010 has to offer.
